New Principal Announced

Reported by janet_buglio@ipsd.org on 3/18/19

Dear Kendall Community,

I’m pleased to let you know the Board of Education approved the recommendation for Breah Jerger as the next principal of Kendall Elementary School. Breah will officially begin her new role July 1, 2019.

Since 2016, Breah has served as the student services coordinator at Patterson
Elementary School in District 204. In her current role, she has built strong relationships with students, parents and fellow educators. Prior to working in our district, Breah worked as an administrator and teacher in Yorkville and Plainfield school districts. She also taught in Highland Park, IL and Greenwood Village, CO.

Breah earned her bachelor’s degree in education from Northwestern University and her master’s degree in educational leadership from University of St. Francis.

I have no doubt that her child-centered focus will best serve the Kendall community.

Sincerely,

Laura Devine-Johnston
Assistant Superintendent
Teaching and Learning, Elementary
