Computer LabThe lab contains 20 IBM Pentium computers. Computers throughout the building are networked on a Local Area Network (LAN--within building) as well as a Wide Area Network(WAN--within and outside of district). The computer lab is flexibly scheduled so classrooms may visit the lab when the need arises. The computer lab is used as an instructional tool to accomplish a curricular goal. Students may take turns using the lab computers and working on an independent classroom activity in the LMC. The classroom teacher is usually the supervisor and instructor in the lab. An instructional technology aide is available in the lab each day. The LMC director or LMC aide may assist in the lab if the instructional technology aide is unavailable.
